Happy Hump-day!!

For today's hump-day post, I am linking up with Shay and Erika to share our coffee bar area!! I'm also sharing a little virtual school/time management/random q&a!! I hope you enjoy!!

Sooo, I actually really dislike coffee. I've never been a fan, but my parents both are!!

We keep things pretty simple...All we really have on display is our Keurig!!

Okay, enough coffee talk😂 Now on to the Q&A!! This Q&A has mostly school/time management related questions, but there are a few random questions about me!!

Any tips to stay focused?

Hmm...One of my biggest tips is to just set a timer and work until the timer is finished. I love the app Flora for that because it not only sets a timer, but it also can motivate you to continue working!! I also like to set my phone on do not disturb to not get distracted by it.

Do you time-block?

Sometimes. I used to time-block my full day, but then I would get upset when it didn't go to plan...spoiler alert: It never goes to plan ;) Whenever I do time-block it's typically when I have a lot to do and want to get it done fast. I'll set timers for each thing that I want to do, and try to get it done fast.

Any tips on how to stay motivated?

For school, I always think of my end goal. I want to have a successful future, so in order to have that, I know that I need to work hard and not give up.

How do you give out consistent content while balancing school?

Well, school comes first. Always. I get my school done first, and then save all my blogging for the afternoon. I've also started pre-writing my blogposts which is really helpful. I always have a schedule for my posts so that isn't something that I have to worry about.

How much screen time do you usually have?

This can really differ. I'd say that it's typically 2 hours a day😬 On my IPad, it's more because I read on it, I do a lot of blogging on it, I take school notes on it...It's all about balance :)

What are your "work hours"?

This also changes all the time, but I would say that I normally start school at 7:30-8 and then finish up the day at around 4 or 5.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Okay...2026, what do you got for me? I see myself in college, working to get an English degree. I would love to join a sorority, or at least rush, to meet new people. I'm not sure if I see myself still blogging, but maybe? Who knows!! I've still got to get through 2021 😂

What's the most surprising thing you've learned about yourself?

That I am very much an introvert! 2020, especially, showed me that I really do love family time, reading, watching movies, puzzles...I would prefer to stay in, any night of the week!!

How do you spend your free time?

Do you get along with your siblings?

I would say yes, but no. Does that make sense? I would say that we get along more than we don't. We definitely argue...a lot, but we can also get along very well! Anna and I definitely argue more than I do with Hudson, but we're girls, and he's the only boy. Sisters will be sisters.

What's a typical school day like for you?

8:05 - Science zoom (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
9:00 - Spanish/Math zoom (Math: Wednesdays and Fridays, Spanish: Tuesday and Thursday)
9:50 - Work time!!
11:05 - Lunch
11:40 - English zoom (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)
12:35 - World History zoom (Wednesdays and Fridays)
1:25 - Work time!!
2 - Blogging time!!
4 - Walking
5 - Freetime!!

How do you manage deadlines?

I get them done first thing!! I always try to be ahead, so as soon as I get the deadline, I start working!!

How are you still liking virtual school?

I am still really enjoying it!! There are definitely times when I wish I was in school, but then there are times when I never want to go back!! Anna and Huddy are still really liking it too!!

Okay, friends!! That is my Q&A!! I hope you enjoyed this post, and that you have a great day!! I'll see you tomorrow for my 2021 goals!!

  6. Great Q&A! When my son is virtual schooling he has all 7 subjects each day and is pretty much online from 7:18- 2. He prefers being in the building but if I'm honest I enjoy when he's home!

    1. Wow, that is a heavy workload!! I think my mom sides with you...She’s loved having us home this year!!

  7. We use this single-serve Keurig at the office - works great!
