February Goals.

Wednesday, February 3, 2021

January is officially over, so it's time to look back on our goals!! I think I did pretty good on my goals this month...for the most part. There's always room for growth, but I feel like I really tried to make an effort to reach my goals each day!! Some I did. Some I kinda did. Some I didn't. No matter what, it's time to reflect and see how we can improve in February!!

Inspiration for this post comes from Lindsey!!

I will be using Y as yes (completed) and N as no (not completed).

Y Bible in one year.

N Go to bed before 9:30 - Some days I would and some days I wouldn't.

N Drink 64 ounces a day - I started out strong with this goal. Anna and I were doing a water challenge which motivated me a lot. Now, I've been struggling to drink 40 ounces of water a day. I'm going to start using a water tracker this month so that will hopefully motivate me again!!

N Get back into running - I ran two miles. So yes, I did run, but not as much as I would've liked. I'm going to take small steps with this goalπŸ˜‰

Y Close all rings on my Apple Watch at least 20 days.

Y Read 10 books.

And those were the only goals that I set...#facepalm. I thought I had more!! So, I completed half of them...Pretty good for me!! My 2021 goal is to reach my 2021 goalsπŸ˜‚

I also wanted to touch on how I've done with my big 2021 resolution which is, to live in the moment and choose joy each day. I feel like I did pretty good on living in moment, for me anyway. I choose to spend more time with my family watching movies and talking rather than being huddled up in my room reading. I went shopping, watched the SEC championship, went on lots of golf cart rides with my siblings, watched the Hunger Games with my mom. Like I said, there's always room for growth, but I'm pretty proud of that. As for choosing joy, there's definitely room for improvement. This is always my goal. I want to wake up and choose to be joyful, but that doesn't always happen. January was a very lonely and dreary month, and the winter blues definitely got me. That being said, this is something that I still need to work on and make a conscious effort to choose each day.
