Friday Favorites + March Graphic Release!

Friday, March 5, 2021

It's a special day.

Well, Fridays are always special, BUT...

I'm releasing my March graphics. 🙂

And it's also Friday favorites time!! I always look forward to Fridays because 1) It's Friday...Duh, and 2) I get to share my Friday favorites!! These are always so fun to write and read, and I love looking back at old ones.

Anyways, I'm linking up with AndreaErikaShelbee, and Nancy

And I have new graphics!! Didn't I just use new graphics last week? Yes, yes I did. Buuuuut do I want to be festive? An even bigger yes!! And are these graphics huge? Yeah, they are...Oh well!! I genuinely love making these graphics, so there might be new ones next week 😂 In the meantime, enjoy these St. Paddy's Day graphics!! So, yeah...They're a favorite!!

I'm obsessed with 80's music.

Please don't ask me how this obsession came to be because I haven't the faintest idea. On Monday morning, I woke up with an urge for some 80's music.

I think it's safe to say that my parents are thrilled. HA! I think they were tired of my Taylor Swift 😜

Give me all the Whitney Houston, Micheal Jackson...I can't stop listening to it!!

I'm listening to The Power Of Love by Huey Lewis & The News right now!! Trivia: What movie is this song from? I'll give you a hint...It's my PopPop's all-time favorite!!

Another thing to point out - 80's music is literally the best to workout to. So motivating and upbeat!!

If you want the link to my playlist, you can find it here!!

Sibling fun is a favorite!! I have no clue what is going on in this picture, but I feel like it's a very accurate representation of Huddy and I's relationship!! Haha!!

Huddy was channeling green on this day 😂

Sister fun!!

Since the weather has been good, we've been spending so much time out on our porch!!

Reading?

Check!

Double-check!

Playing with wildlife? Check...Haha!!

Now, I'm going to do a short, little lake recap, because that was FOR SURE a favorite!! First off, virtual reality. My PopPop got a virtual reality (headset?) and we got to try it out for the first time!! Y'all, it is WEIRD!!! It really is like you're in another place!!

Enjoying the view 😊

I wish that I was able to see the full sunset, but I only got this glimpse :( Still very pretty!!

Then we had dinner and joined into a call with the author of Educated! She was answering a few fan questions. We stayed on for about an hour and then hit the hay.

The next morning Hudson had practice, so they had to leave at around 9:15. He wanted to get a few minutes of virtual reality in before he left!!

While they were gone, my Nana and I didn't really do a ton. We read, ate lunch, and I got to try out the VR!!

When Hudson got back, we did pretty much the same thing!!

Then we went on a golf cart ride!! Huddy insisted on wearing my PopPop's old helmet 😂

We came back, had dinner, and then went spotlighting!! We saw ELEVEN deer!!

The next morning, we went for a long family walk!! We got to look at the pretty scenery and just explore a little bit further into my grandparent's new neighborhood!!

Oh boy. He's got sass.

And then we came back and did the polar bear plunge. Bad idea. It was FREEZING!!

We showered, ate lunch, and then spent the rest of our time relaxing before we left!! Huddy climbed a tree and I spent that time reading!! Haha!! Two complete opposites!!

So yeah!! That was my "mini" lake recap!!

Meanwhile, Anna did great in her tournament!! They won a game, and she even got a chance to pitch!!

Look at her go!!

Since the weather has been so nice, we've spent more time outside, which means that we've spent more time with our friends!! Anna and Huddy love going out to our alley and riding bikes with our neighbors!! It makes me miss those original quarantine nights...Those were the BEST!!

I like to read on the porch with Ollie ;)

I didn't get a picture with Huddy because he was being a VERY busy boy but trust me, he was having the time of his life!! Also - You can tell by this photo...I was SUNBURNT!!! It was February!! Haha!! It faded pretty fast, but wow!! That's crazy!!

I talked about this yesterday, but Huddy has been loving the book that he's reading right now!! It's a Magic Tree House book, and he is just eating it up!! And Ollie loves to lay by him ;) This dog is L A Z Y !!

Aww, this picture is so sweet. We all wanted to sit by each other on our island and do our school!! This time with my siblings was a favorite!!

And then this happened - Haha!!

And my final favorite is the great walk I went on this week!! It was beautiful!!

Hi Cricket!!

So pretty!!

Well, that wraps up the favorites BUT I have more in store...

It's time for my March graphics!!

As always, I hope that you enjoy these!!

Well, that is it for today!! I hope you have the best weekend, and that you love these graphics!! Thank you SO much for reading, and I will see you all here on Monday!!

  2. Oh my goodness I'm jealous of your porch time. I was just thinking yesterday how excited I am to go back to my parents' place this summer so I can enjoy my morning coffee on the porch every morning! Looking out over a field just hits different than looking at the apartment laundry room from my balcony haha. I hope you have a great Friday & weekend!

I was born in 1980 so you are correct! 80's music is AWESOME!! I love the songs your listening to! Especially Tears for Fears.

Have you watched Stranger Things? If not, you gotta! It's based in the 80's and all they play is 80's music. I loooooove it!!

  17. Looks like you had so much joy this past month. And I may be biased having graduated from high school in 1980, but 80's music is the best! Glad you're listening to it.
