March 2021 Goals.

Wednesday, March 3, 2021

Happy, happy Wednesday!! It's hump-day, and y'all, the weekend is looking reeeeaaaallll nice.

Today I'm recapping how I did on my February goals, as well as setting my March goals. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!!

I'll be using Y as in yes (completed) and N as in no (not completed).

Y Reach out to one friend a week. - I tried to talk to one friend a week, through text, FaceTime, in-person, and successfully achieved that!!

Y Send a letter to my long-distance friend.

Y Celebrate February birthdays. - We don't have any February birthdays in my family, but I reached out to some of my friends who do.

Y Quiet time every day.

Y Bible in one year.

Y Drink 64 ounces of water 20 days out of the month. - A BIG ole yes!! This month I really tried to focus on my water intake. I didn't hit it exactly 20 days out of the month, but I did still get the amount that equals 20 days. Does that make sense? 64 ounces of water 20 days is equal to 1,208, and I drank 1547 ounces of water!!

Y Go to bed by 9:45 most nights. - Another yes!! I was much better about getting to bed this month!!

Y Workout 5 days a week. - It wasn't exactly "working out," but I either walked, worked out, etc. at least 5 days a week!!

Y Close all Apple Watch rings 23 days out of the month. - Closed it every day!!

N Run 10 times. - Yeah, this did not happen 😂 I ran once.

Y Power walk/run on rest days.

Y Go on a picnic with Anna and Huddy. - It was indoor, but yes!!

N Go to the tennis courts with Anna and Huddy.

N Have a family lunch on the porch. - I ate with Huddy, but that was it.

N Set up the hammocks.

Y Celebrate Valentine's Day.

Y Go to the lake with  my grandparents.

Y Go to the coffee shop with Anna.

N Go to Huddy's first tournament. - Haha!! This did NOT happen!!

Y Watch the Superbowl with my family.

N Watch Hamilton with Huddy. - We watched about 20 minutes of it and then stopped.

Y Clean out closet.

Y Clean out nightstand.

N Work on organizing planner. - I just got busy and couldn't find the time.

Y Post 3-5 times a week.

Y Redesign blog.

Y Focus on quality over quantity.

Y Stop doing weekly wrap-ups. - I just felt like my content was getting too repetitive with Friday favorites, what's up Wednesday, and weekly wrap-ups, so I decided to put the hold on them.

Y Continue prewriting blog posts.

Y Brainstorm.

N Work on an upcoming blog series. - I have an idea, but I didn't do any brainstorming.

Y Brainstorm for a possible book week. - I have a few ideas, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen or not.

N Work on recipes.

Y Orthodontist appointment.

N Start watching Gilmore Girls again.

Y Read 15 books.

N Work on oatmeal recipe. - I've given up on this. Oatmeal is pretty gross.

  1. Your goal setting inspires me, Ella! Maybe you can help me set some goals when we’re together this weekend ❤️?

    1. Thank you!! Yes, they're very helpful to have!!

  2. You did a great job on your goals! Your handwriting on the envelope to your friend is so nice. I also need to organize my craft room. It's become a dumping ground, so it quite the mess.

    1. Oh, thank you!! I totally get that - Our "art table" is a complete mess!!

  3. Great Job, Ella! I love your organization, habits, and discipline!

  4. I'm so glad you made relationships a priority on your goals. This is so important during this time of being apart.

    1. Yes, definitely!! I can get very anti-social and introverted, so that is something that I'm really trying to work on. Especially now!

  5. Wow! We all need this kind of organization in our lives. You are really amazing. Your goal setting inspires me.

    Thanks for sharing!

  6. This post makes me want to set some goals! It's so well organized. I love the idea of reaching out to one friend per week, very smart.

  7. You did amazing girl!! Love that you were able to connect with friends and read 15 books! xo, Biana BlovedBoston

  8. Wow, you seem to have accomplished a lot. I love how organized and nice your closet looks.
Thanks for the blog visit and enjoy the rest of the week.

  9. Wow! You've done really great, Ella! I love how you lay-out your monthly goals; so organized and inspiring!

    1. Thank you so much, Bri!! If I don't write them down, then I simply won't do them!!

  10. LOL! I think oatmeal is pretty gross too; unless it's made into crunch granola or a cookie (with chocolate chips not raisins) I want nothing to do with it. Great job on your goals. Keep it up.

    1. It really is!! I can eat about 3 bites, and then I want nothing else to do with it!! Haha!!

  11. Ella,
You are amazing!! i think I need to set some goals for myself like you are doing!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and by letting me know that you did by leaving such a sweet comment!!
    Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
